There isn't a real point to this journal, just wanted to do a different one

At the moment I'm working on a Okami piece and I frequently become annoyed with it not going how I want it to, so I leave it for a while and go do something else. I've done this so often with pictures that I often end up not finishing them. So watchers and passers by, what do you do when you cannot seem to make your hand draw right?

I also need some inspiration for some new pictures too. I need to do things more frequently so as to get better at them rather than worse with stuff.
